June 24 - July 7, 2018
This Summer in Italy...
On the dates June 24 through July 7 of 2018, come experience the power and magic of creativity against the beautiful picturesque backdrop of Paestum, Italy. Collaborate to conceive, create, and perform an original musical work with other students from around the world using the Lovewell Method.
The Lovewell Method
Follows a highly structured yet flexible protocol of exercises, activities, trainings, and events wherein teachers guide the students through the process of creating original characters, plot lines, dialogue, songs, lyrics, dances, and visual elements (costumes, scenery, props, lighting, etc.) that contribute to the ultimate production.
Their Own Ideas
Since the students create the ideas and characters, they take ownership of their project and are consequently highly motivated to stay engaged during the entire process. This unique immersive learning experience will not only introduce students to new cultures and expanded global awareness, it will also form lifelong bonds with other young creative artists in a diverse and nurturing environment. Crafting a theatrical and musical artwork based on students' own experiences and perceptions gives the students and teachers the inspiration and incentive to work hard, have fun, and open up their minds to a new type of transdisciplinary learning opportunity founded on the notion that all things are possible.
